On a regular day, Reesha wakes up at 4 a.m. and makes her way to "the mountain," where she and other agricultural workers pick tomatoes. She says the landowner pays well in comparison to others in the market. His rate is 100 EGP ($5.68) per day. She complains, however, about negative stereotypes about women who do this kind of work. “Some people say that a woman who is not respectable… but that’s not true. We have to support our families,” she says.
