“I come every day, even on Fridays [the official weekend in Egypt], and I leave at 5 p.m. It’s very convenient since the association provides the equipment, the electricity, and the fabric,” Wedad Musa, who has been coming to the association regularly for the past eighteen years, told MENASource. “It also feels good because you’re making something with your own hands, and they have taught us a lot, even how to make the colors match and look appealing,” she added. Musa is also a widow who uses the income she receives from the association to support her two kids.
